Blog Post and Article Submission Guidelines

Here I will lay down some tips and points before you contribute an article, which will ensure that your submission gets fast approval.

Submitting a post will not result in publication. We reserve the right to publish the content we feel is better suited to the blog’s content and editorial line. You will get a reply if the post has been selected for publication. If you don’t hear from us, it means that the post has not been accepted.

In order to increase the chances of being featured, we suggest you adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Content must be original

We will carefully search for the content you submit across the web. If your content is present somewhere else on the web, it won’t be published on Event Manager Blog. Moreover we require exclusivity of the content you provide, meaning the content won’t appear anywhere else in the same form you provided it to us.

2. Credit

We respect individual work and if your idea is derivative of someone else work, feel free to give credit. Same goes for images that you use on your post. To ensure your article get published, write a very original piece, which is written specifically for our audience.

3. No self-promotion

We allow genuine contribution and don’t allow any backlinks or anything of that sort. You will get a chance to build a brand of yourself by contributing a post to us.

4. Post should be in depth

We prefer in depth posts of 800 words and above

5.Content must link to one of our post categories

In order to keep continuity with the blog content, we ask you to place at least one link to one of our posts. Please review carefully the list of our categories. We tend to features articles in those categories we haven’t covered in a while.

6. Tone of voice must be non-promotional

Promotion in any form won’t be tolerated. It’s okay to link to your business in your bio but any promotion of your products or someone else’s will be penalized. This is unless you are providing the list of tools or discussing news, in such case you must keep an unbiased perspective.

7. Copyright

We respect everyone work. In case we found out that you had copied post from somewhere. This will lead to instant ban and removal of all your blog posts from Office Assistance. Also by submitting a post to us, you give us the copyright ownership of the post. This helps us to deal with any DMCA related issues.
